Southbury Women’s Club (SWC) is asking you to help acknowledge the commitment and efforts of our medical professionals and first responders during this coronavirus pandemic. These fellow community members must be onsite to care for patients and are required to work longer hours. We can support them and their families during this challenging time with sponsoring a prepared meal to enjoy. What better way to do this than support the great restaurants that we have in town!
**UPDATE** Due to the funding received by an Eversource grant and the overwhelming response to this campaign from our generous donors, we are continuing by increasing our goal to $10,000 to expand our audience of recipients and plan for our community’s recovery. We’ve received some great feedback to include front-line workers so that’s what we are going to do….and then some. The funds raised will continue to help deliver meals to local hospitals, recognize our local ‘heroes’ – both first responders and essential workers – as well as provide assistance through other SWC sponsored activities.
Please help us “Return the Flavor” today by clicking on the link here to DONATE. We greatly appreciate your support and our thoughts are with you and your families.
