The Southbury Women’s Club invites you to the first-ever Mrs. Roper Romp – “Down on Main,” a fun community shopping and social event inspired by everyone’s favorite 1970s neighbor, Mrs. Roper from Three’s Company, an American TV sitcom that aired on ABC from 1977 until 1984.
Pre-registration is encouraged but not required. Guests who pre-register using the QR code below will be guaranteed an Event Card. A limited number of Event Cards will also be available on the day of the event.
How It works
“The Romp” begins at Mercato and ends at Bevy Co.
• Meet at Mercato, 984 Main Street South, to pick up your Mrs. Roper Romp Event Card.
• Visit participating businesses throughout the Main Street South area.
• Have your Event Card stamped at participating locations. No purchase is required!
• Enjoy special activities, promotions, drink specials, giveaways, and more along the way.
• Take lots of photos and tag your friends, us and participating businesses (and yes we will have some fun photo areas)
• Turn in your Event Card at Bevy Co., for a chance to win a fabulous prize!
And Yes... There’s a Stanley! A lucky participant will win a Stanley tumbler filled with gift cards from participating local businesses. Get it? Mrs. Roper’s husband was Stanley!

Mrs. Roper is known for her fabulous 1970s style, so channel your inner Mrs. Roper and have some fun with your outfit! Ideas include bold prints, colorful caftans, big jewelry, and 70s flair. Mrs. Roper-inspired outfits are encouraged but not required. Come as you are and enjoy the afternoon!
